“We thank Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (D-WA) and Congressman David Schweikert (R-TX) for introducing the Advancing America's Interest Act, legislation that will modernize the International Trade Commission (ITC) and curb abusive patent litigation plaguing American businesses. The ITC is critical to protecting the U.S. economy from unfair global competition, and these targeted reforms will enable the agency to uphold its mission. We urge Congress to take up this practical and timely legislation and enable the ITC to protect legitimate trade concerns without allowing cases to be brought that hurt American businesses.”
